Soooo Sleepy

Ok I am so tired right now and cannot figure out why ugghh. It was brought to my attention that we didn't get to bed until midnight. I guess I am not as young as I used to be and can't handle the late nights.

Here are my thoughts on why I might be tired.
1) I recently got contacts which I have never had before so my poor eyes are getting tired blinking over that little piece of film.
2) Technically we would be getting ready to fall back and get an extra hour of sleep in the morning that won't be happening until November.
3) I am just old and can't hang

Wow Thursday

Ok so first of all last night I had a horrible migraine which normally happens when the weather is all crazy. So when it's cold and then gets warm or the other way around but then I came home from work yesterday and Mike surprised me with dinner (yummy) and he picked up chocolate covered strawberries and even a brownie to share. I was so happy it totally made my day. I did end up going to be at like 8:30 because the medicine kicked in and I couldn't keep my eyes open.

Thursday has been a pretty good day here is the highlight my boss and I met with a local reporter and pitched an idea for a story that would be sort of "reality" story about a first time homeowner as they go through the whole process and all the steps involved but making it more into a story rather than a typical business review which is what the articles normally are. He really liked the idea and thought his editor would too. Now I just have to get to work at picking out who we should do a story on....

Blinker/Turn Signals

Ok when did these things just become courtesy that you turn on every now and then? Seriously how old am I? I remember Diver's Ed I know the rules but yet I feel like I am the only one turning mine on so I can alert the other drivers on the road I am about to pop into their lane or turn.

I am also pretty sure people are just switching lanes without taking a glance anywhere. I think I ran into this multiple time just on my way to work which is not too far from my house. Oh this also comes in handy when I ride my bike to work and I think someone is going straight and all of sudden I have pull some crazy Xgames move so I don't get hit.

So please just use your blinker and then cut me off like you know you will, at least I know it's coming.

I am not SPAM

OK so I had to hop on here real fast to prove to the almighty beings at Blogger that I am indeed of the human persuasion. I orginally set this blog up to keep everyone up to speed on what was up with us. But sadly I have been so busy with work that by the time I have a moment at home I don't really feel like sitting at the computer (of course after I check Facebook).

So here is my written commitment that I will work on keeping this up to-date.
